STUDIO - Studio Twig

Studio Twig - Loquet London

I have always been a big fan of brand Loquet London, who create really unique and fashionable jewellery that is extremely personal and customisable. I follow them on a range of social media sites, and have always felt that they have great advertisements, promotional material, and use illustration and hand drawn type really well to set scenes.

I decided to find out who produced the design material for them, and found out that it was Studio Twig, who are based in London.

I particularly like how the brand uses a really contemporary design, that is fashionable and minimal, but I love that little quirky editions have been included, such as the use of a hand drawn alphabet and the use of illustration.

"Branding /Graphic design / Marque / Packaging

Loquet London is a new British luxury jewellery concept created by Sheherazade Goldsmith and Laura Bailey. Taking a contemporary approach to the age old idea of a keepsake locket they created Loquet London.
As a new concept we were asked to create the brand’s identity and launch collateral, including branding, art direction, packaging, POS and website. We created a marque that reflected the product including a symbol that could be extracted and used to brand items.  We also created a hand drawn font as part of the identity kit. This was complimented by a series of quirky drawings to illustrate the product and its characterful nature.
Since the launch, the brand has had resounding success and continues to grow from strength to strength.  As does our relationship with Loquet London."

STUDIO - Little Low Studio

Little Low Studio

This studio stood out to me predominantly because of their keenness to incorporate humour and a friendly tone of voice into their designs and illustrations. This year I chose a number of briefs that were quite light hearted, therefore this resonated with me. They also focus on a lot of colours that attract me to their designs, incorporated really lovely contemporary pastels, pinks and blues.

"Little Low Studio launched in April of 2012 after the fast growth of its parent line, Feb10 Design. While Feb10 is more based on childlike illustrations and friendly, silly humor, Little Low focuses on an illustrative, expressive, and charming style more like the personal style of owner and designer Caitlin McClain.

Within a short period, we have grown from a shop carrying art prints only, to offering a much fuller line of stationery sets, printed pillows covers, unframed art prints, thoughtful calendars, screen printed women’s tops, totes, and tea towels, and even a limited edition of embroidery hoop art.

Everything we create, we try to pursue with the utmost integrity, eco-consciousness, and reliability. We love our customers and realize that this business would not be possible without them, so we believe that we owe them the best products, service, and care we can give.

Thank you for shopping, we hope you’ll enjoy!"
