DESIGN PRESENCE - cover letter

As part of my design presence, I felt that it was necessary to have a cover letter, as this may be used to send to clients, studios or even colleagues. On this, I would have to include my 'logo', name and contact details. I also wanted to make sure that I managed to include at least one aspect of my pattern within this format so that all of my products worked together as a cohesive whole. This would also allow me to reflect my personality and interests within something as simple as a cover letter.

After revisiting my website design, I decided that it would be best if I made my cover letter to reflect this. I therefore changed my name to be the same grey as the one used within my contact and about me details on my site. By doing this, I am making sure everything works as a set and range of products. I also feel it allows my name to stand out, sticking in the reader's mind.

I then decreased the gap between the initials and my name as I felt that they looked too much like completely separate things.

Making 'graphic design' line up with initial width.

Adjusting space between line and illustration.

Mock up of how my cover letters would look once printed.
